Edo is a people and business result focused manager. He has over 25 years of experience in both leadership, people- and project management. He worked most of his career in large international organizations leading the development of software intensive systems (hardware and software) in Medical Devices, Telecommunications and Logistics industries.

With his experience he enjoys helping individuals and organizations to improve their way of working especially with respect to digitization, project management and working agile. Always in a pragmatical way, considering the context of the organization. Edo is also trainer

About the course Embracing Agile.

Agile has been a popular methodology for over 20 years, but we know it's not always easy to use and it's not a silver bullet that solves all your problems. Our workshop is not designed to teach you a specific agile framework or methodology, but to show you how an agile mindset can help you with project management and product development in your company.

We start with the basics of agile, the principles, the history, and the relationship with other methodologies. Then we also cover well-known frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe. But we also go further than that. We cover practical challenges that many organizations encounter when applying agile methodologies, such as working with fixed-price projects or applying agile in highly regulated industries.

In the workshop we will use as much as possible hardware development examples, because with hardware development you really must understand the agile mindset as you often do not have the flexibility as with software development.
