Nobbe Mieras trainingen is een niche trainingsbureau, opererend op het snijvlak van theater en wetenschap. We zijn toonaangevend in presenteren en spreken, profileren en overtuigen. Zo weten we alles over spreekangst, strategische verhalen ontwerpen en inclusieve beeldvorming en profilering.

We werken uitsluitend met senior trainers afkomstig uit het theater die door voortdurende scholing op de hoogte zijn van recente ontwikkelingen in het veld. Daarnaast werken we nauw samen met wetenschappers van o.a. Princeton University en Universiteit Utrecht en participeren we in onderzoek rondom beeldvorming en leiderschap. We zijn trotse sprekerscoach voor TEDxAmsterdam.

Overcoming Public Speaking Anxiety

Many people fear presenting and tend to avoid giving presentations. Most highly educated professionals don't have that option; delivering presentations is often a key part of their job. Therefore, it's important for them to address their presentation anxiety.

The good news is that it's entirely possible to significantly reduce presentation anxiety: by understanding its cause, applying effective strategies, and systematically removing triggers. The outcomes of this approach are remarkably positive. Participants report that this safe training helps them lower their presentation anxiety to a "healthy level of tension," even if they've experienced the fear of speaking for years.

The training takes place in small groups of up to six participants. Everything in the training is designed to foster a safe learning environment where you can make real progress. It includes two days of sessions and a follow-up phone call.

What are we going to do?

Day 1

  • We'll analyze when and to what extent your presentation anxiety arises.
  • We'll show you how and why your speaking anxiety arises and why overcoming it is simpler than you previously thought.
  • We'll teach you effective strategies for preparation and delivery that naturally reduce tension during presentations.

Day 2

  • The causes of speaking anxiety are the same for everyone, but the triggers are different for each person. On this second day, you'll learn what your triggers are and how to handle them.
  • You will work with a real-life presentation from your practice.
  • We'll practice challenging situations in a safe environment. This will prevent surprises during future presentations.

After the training

  • We'll stay in touch after the training with a follow-up phone call. During this call, you can ask questions and get advice on issues you face in practice.
  • Many clients value additional one-on-one guidance after the training. Do you want to prepare for that important presentation with your trainer or work through specific anxiety triggers? We offer our plus packages for this purpose. This provides personalized follow-up, which is more convenient and significantly less expensive than booking individual coaching afterward. Choose a plus package when registering.

This training is especially helpful for people who face a lot of presentation anxiety and want to finally overcome it. You shouldn’t have to make excuses or lie awake at night before a presentation. You shouldn’t have to suffer with a pounding headache and feelings of disappointment each time you present. Instead, you want to address your problem at its source and turn your limiting speaking fears into normal, healthy excitement. EXTRA informatie

There is a two-week interval between the two training days.

Afterward, you'll have a follow-up phone call. You'll schedule this with your trainer, and the first one is usually about six weeks after the training.
