This workshop looks beyond the hype about blockchains. We explain the technical structure of blockchain systems and review the conditions under which it makes sense to use them. We show how to make business models of blockchain applications and give some real-world illustrations of this. Our business models include the entire value network and can be used to explore and elaborate disruptive applications of new technology.
At the end of this workshop, participants will have an understanding of blockchain principles, of the conditions for successful application, and of business models for blockchain technology.
