Bob Zevering Culture and Language Trainer
Professional Trainer
Next to my work for different companies I also teach at Webster University Leiden Campus, This is the only institute for Higher Education offering American-accredited degrees in the Netherlands. It offers both BA/BS (undergraduate) and MA/MBA (graduate and postgraduate) programs. I am senior faculty for the Global Citizenship program.
My other language trainers are enthusiastic, fully qualified, native (or near-native) speakers. Their experience allows them to be flexible and responsive to client needs while matching the participant’s competence and educational levels.
Learn a language with the help of your personalized app.
I believe in a blended-learning approach. Next to grammar explanation, exercises and role plays we do during the classes, our students can use a personalized app with their own vocabulary and exercises so that they can practice on their phone, laptop, tablet or I-pad wherever they are.
Culture Awareness
I believe that language and culture are inextricably linked. This is why we incorporate culture training into each of our language courses and language training into each of our culture courses. This dynamic approach makes us unique and provides the learner with an advantage that will help them adapt to the target language and culture more quickly.
Language Learning Philosophy
In order to feel at home in a new country and being able to communicate with the new people you meet there, you have to be able to speak their language and understand their culture, values, and habits. We organize training that helps you adjust to your new lives abroad and make sure that you can communicate with the locals.
History
My company, originally named ACT taaltrainingen was established in 1999. Since that time, I have been providing language and culture training to various multinationals in the Amsterdam area. In 2013 I changed our name into Learn the Language.
